100 Marine Parade Worthing BN11 3QF
Close to all that Worthing has to offer

While Worthing is notably calmer than it's neighbours of Brighton and Hove this is in fact a good thing as we don't suffer from the tourist hordes and life here is far less stressful, for sure many down-size and retire to Worthing but there is a young and energetic bar scene, some great restaurants and award winning bars/micro-pubs.

100 Marine Parade is on the doorstep of many of these bars and restaurants, as well as being close to the main shopping area with many a high street retailer, however there are many unique shops in the nearby roads and if browsing charity shops is your thing to source interesting furniture then we'd suggest come in a van!

Both Eastbourne and Bognor Regis claim to be the sunniest towns in England, and "Sunny Worthing" is between them and for sure has its own micro-climate from May through to September, as the close proximity of the South Downs help a local sea-breeze, often known as the "Worthing Effect" by the local watersports community that tends to keep the clouds encroaching from inland over the coastal plain.

Your hosts: We have lived in Worthing for 30 years, commuting to London working in the London media scene, one in Fleet Street on the Newspapers, then followed by a stint in a main stream Ad Agency sector and the other (the better half) fashion on the Evening Standard, Cosmopolitan, Tatler, Epicurean Life and Hello magazine.

We now divide our time between the South Coast and the Southern Alps, still working on editorial for media titles and creating websites.

We have always worked hard and played hard. This is one reason why we chose 100 Marine Parade for it's proximity not only to great restaurants and bars but also to kitesurfing, windsurfing, cycling, coastal running and our lovely South Downs.
